Awaken:
A Prelude to Summer
Held in a natural setting, Awaken weaves mindful movement, time outdoors, reflective and expressive experiences, and intentional connection. Throughout the weekend, guests are invited into experiences designed to support renewal, presence, play, and seasonal transition. The weekend also includes a special gathering to unveil The Room, the dedicated home of Mindful Kollaborative Strategies and a newly created space for practice, presence, connection, and community.
Location: Black Oak Lodge
Mt. Morris Camp and Retreat Center
Mt. Morris, Wisconsin, USA
Black Oak Lodge serves as our home base for the weekend, offering overnight accommodations and welcoming spaces to rest, gather, and spend time together. Retreat experiences take place throughout the surrounding grounds, allowing for both indoor comfort and time immersed in nature.
Retreat Experiences Include
Energizing and accessible yoga and mindful movement
Guided reflection centered on renewal and seasonal intention
Outdoor experiences including kayaking, walking trails, and the labyrinth
Cacao and intuitive movement beneath the open sky
A special gathering and unveiling of The Room
Evening fire pit connection and spacious downtime
Time for reflection, conversation, rest, and play
Participation is always optional. Movement is invitational, and rest, stillness, and observation are always welcome. The weekend is intentionally designed with both structure and spaciousness, allowing each guest to move through the retreat in a way that feels supportive and aligned for them.
Evening Cacao and Movement Experience
One evening includes a guided experience combining ceremonial cacao and intuitive movement. Participants are invited to explore sensation, expression, and play through gentle prompts and music under the open sky.
This experience is about presence and connection, not performance.
